Market Madness - Lusaka Half Day Tour
Itinerary
For anyone who loves a bargain a chance to visit different markets in Lusaka. First stop is at the New Soweto market to see everything from fresh vegetables, dried food such as ifinkubala (caterpillars), kapenta (tiny fish) and other traditional Zambian foods, next it is a visit to Comesa market for a chance to purchase a beautifully coloured chitenge (a cotton fabric with a colourful print to wrap around like a skirt, many local mothers use them to keep their babies on their backs). The final market visit is to Kabwata cultural village to purchase a hand crafted souvenir. After all your bargaining you are bound to feel hungry so sit back and relax in the tranquil surroundings of Harrys Grill, restaurant and Bar.
